Neave's days

It was too hot outside, and too cold inside for Neave, so she closed herself in between our screen door and wooden door.

Neave has been quite sick for the last few days, probably with the flu.  When her fever finally broke after about 36 hours, she requested poached eggs on toast in a bowl - just the way Daddy makes them.  Here she is enjoying being allowed to eat on the couch.

Brinda's First Day of School

B:
In this picture I was taking a photo of the first day of school so I could put it on the blog for you.  The first day of school was on August 15th something.

Neave was having breakfast while Tucker was looking back, and his body was facing the window.

This was the first day of school and I had a cherry dress on and a white and mostly blue coat on and Tucker had a tan-kinda coat on and he loves that coat.

At the day before the first day of school, I dropped off my backpack so I don't need to forget my backpack.  It had a lot of school supplies.  And me and Tucker and Mom and Neave were sitting on the deck, waiting for the bus to come.

I think this is the first day of school when we were getting on the bus and going to school.

Just for the record, no one asks Brinda to wear the polyester letter sweater from the 80's.

Tractor-y

N:

NEAVENEAVENEAVE  (Neave is learning to type her name.)

This is my grandpa's tractor, and here is my brother sitting on it with him.  It was an old tractor, but now it got painted another color green.

Here is me sitting on my grandpa's tractor with my mom.  And I helped my mom drive it.  We went on the road and around the corner and in our driveway and back.

Here is Cullen sitting with his mom, and he helped her drive it too.

This was my Grandpa McCarty's tractor, which Dad had refurbished for the Century Farm party.

Red and Blue Oatmeal

B:

This picture is from a long time ago.  It's the picture of the 4th of July.  The 4th of July is when you celebrate with firecrackers.  Rakhi day is coming up, and there's bracelets and you have to eat a bitter thing and then a sweet thing and your brother and sister give it to you.

There are fresh strawberries from the garden in my bowl.  My dad made it for me, and there are blueberries in my bowl, and there's some oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries.

Motor Runner

T:
This is my hamster.  Her name is Hemi.  My uncle Larry gave me a bumper sticker that says "yeah, it's got a Hemi" from the engine.  We sometimes think she's made of an engine because all she does when she's awake is play on her wheel.  She can get that thing going about a million miles per hour.
