toad rescue

N:

I went to the Toad Rescue. I caught a toad, and I helped it onto land. I was in the window well, right behind our house.

There's the toad, I tried to catch it. I couldn't. I did catch it finally. It was climbing in the rocky window well. It probably fell into it.

Here's me catching the toad. You can't really see it, but it's between my hands.

Here's me. I caught the toad. Here's when I'm helping it onto land. It's right by my mom's tiny garden. ZZZZZZ

Toady is hopping off away. Hop hop, it says, hop hop. Boing boing.

swing set

N:

I like swinging on the swings. I can go really high. So can Cullen.

When I first get on, I don't even know how long it takes me to get really high. It doesn't take me long, I know that much.

enjoying the swing set

T:

We got a new swing set. It is really fun. There is swings, and a tunnel, and two tours. There is monkey bars. There's ladders to get into it.

We all worked hard to get it put together. And the swings are really fun. You can go really high.

We had to sit in the shade for a little while. We were talking and eating. After that, we put up the monkey bars.

The monkey bars are a lot of fun.

My uncle Mark tried to go through the really tiny tunnel.

We love the swing set.

happy playground festival

B:

We got a new playground. And there's a monkey bars, there's a tunnel, and we're probably going to get a slide. It is in our back yard. We bought it from another family in Sioux Falls.

All of our family put it up. Mark, Megan, Cullen, Elo, Grandma Lori, Grandpa, Dad, Mom, Tucker, Neave, and me.

We were in po

That's me screwing in the stairs to be a big help.

Some of the nails came loose when we moved it. Neave is helping put them back in.

Tucker is putting in the tunnel. You can go across and go to another playhouse.

They're putting up the monkey bars. I think the monkey bars are the best part of the playground. I like to skip 2.

weird

T:

Me and Neave were jacking around. Neave stole my sock, and I chased her around. And then she wouldn't give it back to me. Naughty naughty Neave.

the silly popcorn day

B:

That's me eating popcorn with yeast. I like the popcorn and butter and (nutritional) yeast. I made the popcorn by myself. And my dad got to eat some of it, and I got to eat some of it.

reading my book

B:

I was reading Clementine book. And I think it's good. Because I want to find out if Clementine get back together because Margaret ripped her booklet out of Clementine's hand. And she got mad of Clementine because Margaret hates germs.

I like Clementine. This is the first book I've read on my own. My family has read a lot of other Clementine books.

Run, Walk, Roll

N:

This is Uncle Matthew's Run Walk Roll day.

Here is the big crowd of people. There's lots of puddles, too.

Here is Matt's t-shirt. Run Walk and Roll t-shirt.

I walked with Matthew the whole time. I was the first one. The end!

Run Walk Roll is a fundraiser for where Matthew lives. He raised a lot of money this year - $1052 - and he's very proud of it.

my birthday day

B:

These pictures are from my birthday. I was 8 and sleeping in my bed. On my door there's a paper, and I smashed through it. Dun-dun.

When I had my cake, they sang Happy Birthday to me. And then we ate cake.

We were serving my cake. I had cherry cake - Black Forest cake. I didn't like the cherries, because they were canned. I like the rest of the cake. We had ice cream with it. I choose chocolate ice cream.

Grandma Peggy gave us lights sunglasses and light necklaces, and my Dad gave Matthew fake light-up teeth.

Me and Cullen had our lights on. And I enjoyed mine. I still have it.

Neave, I think, looks like she enjoys it.

Matthew has light-up teeth, Neave has sunglass, Cullen has sunglasses, I have a necklace, and we are aaaaaaalllllllll family.

Uncle Matthew likes his teeth in the picture.
