Reading Rocks!

I was reading to my little sister Neave nursery rhymes.  She really likes nursery rhymes.  We were looking at one of my favorite nursery rhyme books in the house.

Turkey Farm

From Brinda:

We used to have turkeys at our farm.  And then we butchered the turkeys for Thanksgiving, and now we don't have any turkeys left.

New Dog!

We got a new dog named Nakona.  We really like her.  This is a picture of her.

This is Nakona when she is in trouble.  It looks like she feels guilty.  

This picture is of the silly dog jumping up when we tried to take the picture of her.  She licked the camera, which I don't think would be too tasty.

There was a kitty on the porch, and Nakona was on it.  Nakona just looked at it.

Really Fast-Growing Trees

We had trees moved from the homestead down the road.  And now we have really fast-growing trees.  It was really fun watching them being moved in.  I was in school when they started, and then when I came back from school, it looked nothing like our house.

 They used this big truck to bring the trees in.  Now we have lots of trees.  Here's a picture under this writing.

Brinda's door

Here is the sign Brinda put on her closet door.  She's moderately protective of her room, but NO ONE is allowed near the closet.  It's been up a couple months, but the Zack Brinkman addition is new.  I like how she ends the note with Ole`, BFF.  I think that's how I'll start ending my notes.

Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

This is me, my sister and my cousin on Halloween - our second Halloween in Sheldon.  It was the best ever!

Neave was a gorilla, my cousin Cullen was a lion, I was a bat, and Brinda was a witch.  And it was awesome!  We went to my grandpa's house for supper.  We went trick or treating before we went to my grandpa's house, and we even trick or treated there.
